Our guide will pick you up from the hotel, you are staying in Pokhara around 7:30. Have breakfast and get ready to leave your hotel on time. A short, lovely drive from Pokhara will take us to Naypaul. From here, we will begin trekking to Ulleri. The trail follows the Modi River and takes us to Birethanti.

From here, we will trek via lush rhododendron forest and small villages, crossing suspension bridges to Tikhedhunga. We will then climb a long stone staircase to Ulleri village. This part of the trail is a bit tiring because of the more than 3,000 staircases, but you can climb it.

From Ulleri, we will trek to the famous Ghorepani village. The trail traverses through the dense forests of rhododendron, oak, pine, etc. We will trek past Nangethanti on the way. Today, early in the morning, we will hike to Poon Hill. The route is covered with rhododendron trees. Upon reaching Poon Hill, we will get to see a gorgeous sunrise with the backdrop of stretching snow-capped mountains. Poon Hill is one of the best and close places to enjoy surreal mountain views from Pokhara.

After enjoying the views, we will trek back to Ghorepani village and have breakfast. We will then start trekking to Ghandruk village. The trail descends through dense forests and some settlements. It will be a scenic and tranquil walk. Ghandruk is another beautiful and popular Gurung village.

To do the short Ghorepani Poon Hill trek, you will need a TIMS Card and Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) permit. The TIMS Card costs Nrs 2,000 per person and the ACAP permit costs Nrs 3,000 per person. Both permit costs are covered in our package cost.
