From Kalapathar a small rock outcrop, the most awsome and beautiful sunrise can be seen appearing over Mt Everest. The Everest Base Camp trek is the ultimate challenge of a lifetime! The route takes in some of the most breathtaking mountain scenery imaginable. This extreme challenge takes you to a staggering altitude of 5,545m (18,192 ft), and offers beautiful views of snowy peaks such as Everest (8,848m), Lhotse (8,511m), Makalu (8,481m), Nuptse (7,879m), Ama Dablam (6,856m) and Thamserku (6,623m) to name a few.The challenge is taken at a relaxed pace, with rest days for proper acclimatisation.
